Ram Mandir Chafal, Satara

After visiting Dategad Fort it was time to explore the next beautiful spot near Patan City called Ram Mandir Temple which is near Chafal Village. History: The Temple was built by Samarth Ramdas Swami. The idol of Lord Rama in this Temple, was discovered in the river at Angapur, by Samarth Ramdas Swami.

The temple is constructed in marble and it has two Lord Maruti Temples in its vicinity.

A memorial to mark the first meeting of Samarth Ramdas Swami and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj can also be found at Chafal.

Attraction: You can find varieties of Flora and Fauna over there. You will be seeing some Animals And Birds Like Monkeys, Parrots, Pigeons And some rare species of Birds.
